We built a custom, high performance, auction server for this online car auction company’s web based auctions.

This Chinese company which would prefer to remain nameless is using The Server Framework in a “Hydrology Project” to control 20,000 devices which connect over GPRS.
The devices connect every 10 minutes to send data to the server and get responses. The connections are all very short.
The company had originally written their system using an alternative networking layer but were having problems with it. They’ve switched to using The Server Framework and now everything is working well and they are up to testing with 8000 devices.

This security company, who would prefer to remain nameless, uses The Server Framework for a server which manages the communication for networks of tens of thousands of smart alarm panels.
In addition to the M2M communication aspect, the server also manages the management control connections that are used to send data to and from the devices.
We developed the initial version of the server for the company as a fixed price consulting project to help them get up to speed with The Server Framework as quickly as possible.
Geosocket Information Inc is a Chinese Information Management and GIS developer for the Oil and Gas industry.
They use The Server Framework in two products: SocketIMS, which is web-based map application GIS product and SocketExplorer, a web-based application which publishes seismic interpretation information. Both products use The Server Framework on the server side, integrated with data IO and computation modules with all of the modules hosted in a Windows service. WCF is used in the middle layer and calls to the servers via TCP.
GSI Laboratories uses The Server Framework in an automated mobile testing system. The program (named EASyTester) will simulate thousands of simultaneous mobile data calls. The Server Framework is used with four IP protocols: MLP, MLP SSL, ParlayX, and SUPL.
Integration of The Server Framework was very straight forward. Whenever necessary, Len was always there to help, answer questions, and clear up any confusion. Performance was a primary requirement, and The Server Framework delivers.
